Kibale forest national park

Kibale National Park is 358km from the Uganda’s capital city of Kampala and the surface drive lasts approximately 7 hours. The Kibale Forest Park is shared the districts of Kamwengye and Kabarole and the communities that surround it include; the Batooro the natives to the land and the Bakiga immigrants who migrated from the Kigezi region in south western Uganda. These people depend on the forest for wood fuel, papyrus for craft making and medicinal herbs. The park offers 20% revenue sharing to the entrance collections. Kibale National Park stretches over a geographical coverage of 795km2 and is counted among the great tropical forest of Africa that has got great counts of bio diversity.
