Uganda is one of notable countries in the world and Africa in particular that took the conservation work serious right from the beginning. The country allowed for the gazettion of 10 National Parks most of which were established in the post independence era.
Ranging from verdant dense forests that act as ideal habitats for endangered species like the Mountain gorillas and Chimpanzees to the extensive Savannah open landscapes ideal for Savannah game including the Big five, Uganda’s National Parks are spread across the country each with a clear justification for its existence. As a result of distance and at times unfavorable connection routes, these Uganda Safari Game Parks may not all be explored on a single visit by any travel group unless one is really dedicated to do it.
